In the remaining cases (n = 50) the correlation between endometrial patterns and serum estradiol (E 2) was performed. These cases were presenting with uterine bleeding (n = 38) or minor gynecological symptoms (n = 12). Proliferative endometrium was the predominant endometrial pattern whereas endometrial malignancy was only present in 15.8% of the bleeding cases.

Serum E 2 was significantly elevated in cases having malignant endometrium or adenomatous hyperplasia compared to cases having other endometrial patterns. Serum E 2 measurement is recommended as a simple screening test for the detection of postmenopausal endometrial hyperplasia and/or malignancy. Sony xcd x710 drivers for mac. The future of cost-effective ‘Technical Workflow Management' lies in the effective use of advances in technology to collectively manage project data, technical results, and deliver sustainable solutions for adequate reservoir management. The last decade continues to see rapid reservoir characterisation and simulation improvements in the individual technical disciplines helping develop game-changing solutions to some of the energy industry’s biggest challenges, such as reservoir characterisation and simulation to maximising reserves recovery. The individual technical experts, who provide characterisation-simulation results, can no longer expect to be working in a conventional way. Adaptive and distributed technical team members should provide an asset team with a competitive and profitable mindset by delivering the best in class technology, skills, and workflows for collaborative team-based integrated technical studies.

The research requirements to understand and further exploit the underlying physics revealed by reservoir characterization and simulation have to be properly addressed to cater to the upcoming challenges of maturing reservoirs. Overall, an integrated ability to understand subsurface characterisation challenges holds the key to portfolio management of recoverable resources. There is a never-ending race between computational speed and the engineers hunger to run more complex models needed to improve the decision-making in field development planning and asset optimisation. Challenges include, but are not restricted to, modelling EOR processes and the associated multi-physics (EOR scale reservoir modelling); uncertainty management and the associated assisted history matching; field development planning under uncertainty; modelling and optimisation of advanced smart completion; modelling of highly heterogeneous (e.g. Fractured carbonate reservoirs). Speakers in this session will share recent advances in complex physics modelling, high performance computing and other potential modelling breakthroughs from their companies and institutions perspective and, most importantly, the impact these advances have on efficiently addressing the above mentioned reservoir simulation challenges.
