Apple just keeps making it easier to do. So easy, in fact, that there are just a few things you need to do to move from your old iPhone to a new one.
And setting up a new iPhone XR from scratch isn’t much harder — gone are the days of manually copying passwords just to get to the home screen. There are still a few tricks, though, that will help things run smoothly. Here’s how to set up your new iPhone XR the right way. Apple, trying to accommodate more budget-minded consumers, announced the mid-range iPhone XR for $799 at the same time it unveiled the more expensive iPhone XS and XS Max. The XS line was available on Sept. 21 while the XR, not quite ready for shelves then, went on sale today.
Simple steps for reversing order I found this to be the simplest method to put the podcasts in the order I wanted them, which was oldest at the top, newest at the bottom (though you can put them in any order you want to). In iTunes, select Podcasts under your Library. When the Podcasts open, click on the 'Release Date' column. It will toggle back and forth placing your podcast in order either from oldest to newest, or newest to oldest. If the little triangle arrow is pointing up, they are in order oldest to newest, which you can verify simply by looking at the dates. If there is no release date column you can use the right button on the mouse to add it.
Create a New Playlist in your iPod. You can name it anything, but an easy option is to simply name it the same name as your Podcast name. Go back to your iTunes Podcast list (verify they are still in the order you want them), and use the mouse to block select all the podcasts you want to put in the playlist.
